Every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects their story. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a vow renewal, or a one-of-a-kind celebration, I’ll work with you to design something personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Every ceremony is built around you. Here’s how it works:
Reach out for a friendly chat about your love story, your dream location, and the type of ceremony you’d like.
Together we’ll design a personalised ceremony, covering all the details - from vows to location logistics.
On the day, I’ll deliver a warm, joyful and memorable ceremony that reflects everything you envisioned.
Imagine standing hand in hand with the one you love, as soft ribbons or cords are gently wrapped around your joined hands. Each loop and knot is a symbol of your love, your promises, and your future woven together. This is the beauty of a handfasting ceremony — an ancient tradition that has been reimagined for modern couples who want a moment that feels deeply personal and unforgettable.
Handfasting is where the phrase “tying the knot” began. Rooted in Celtic custom, it represents the binding of two lives and two hearts. Today, it has become a romantic and visually stunning way to honour your connection, while creating a truly magical moment for you and your guests.
Your handfasting can be tailored to you — from the colours and textures of the ribbons to the words spoken as you are bound. Perhaps each cord could represent a shared value, a family blessing, or a hope for your future together. The ritual is flexible, inclusive, and endlessly meaningful.
Whether woven into a wedding, vow renewal, or commitment ceremony, handfasting creates a breathtaking pause in time — a sacred moment where your love is symbolised in the simplest and most powerful of ways: two hands, joined and bound, forever.
The Quaich, often called the “loving cup,” is a beautiful Scottish tradition symbolising trust, unity, and togetherness. During the ceremony, the couple share a drink — usually whisky, mead, or another favourite tipple — from a two-handled cup. Each handle represents openness and honesty, as both must work together to raise the cup.
By sharing the Quaich, you are making a heartfelt promise: to share in all that life brings, its joys and challenges, side by side. It’s a simple yet deeply meaningful ritual that adds a touch of Scottish heritage and a truly memorable moment to your day.
“Caro made our ceremony feel truly magical. She took the time to really understand us and created words that felt so personal and heartfelt. Saying our vows by the loch with her guidance was something we’ll never forget.”
“From the first call, Caro put us at ease. Her warmth and adventurous spirit made her the perfect match for our mountain elopement. She made the whole process simple and stress-free.”
“We wanted a wedding that reflected our love of the outdoors, and Caro delivered exactly that. The ceremony was thoughtful, unique, and beautifully delivered. We couldn’t have asked for more.”
Every couple is unique, and so is every ceremony. Whether you’re dreaming of a misty mountain peak or a romantic lochside setting, I’ll guide you through creating a package that fits your vision.
