The Quaich, often called the “loving cup,” is a beautiful Scottish tradition symbolising trust, unity, and togetherness. During the ceremony, the couple share a drink — usually whisky, mead, or another favourite tipple — from a two-handled cup. Each handle represents openness and honesty, as both must work together to raise the cup.
By sharing the Quaich, you are making a heartfelt promise: to share in all that life brings, its joys and challenges, side by side. It’s a simple yet deeply meaningful ritual that adds a touch of Scottish heritage and a truly memorable moment to your day.
